Dear reader, May I first apologise for the lack of posts, (a slap on the wrist!). Secondly, a happy new year! Many brilliant projects came my way or were self-initiated via my on-going illustration project titled 'Egostrip'. I worked with Artists such as D.I.T.C, Cypress Hill, Georgia Ann Muldrow and Declaim. Not forgetting pages for the great Bitter Root Summer special comic!
I started to focus more on Street Art/murals and was invited to Austin, Texas, to paint live while Quest Love from the mighty Roots crew DJ'd. The live painting was for Mythical Games, for the opening party for SXSW.
Later in 2019, I was invited to paint in Newcastle for the wonderful Words Weekend Festival, celebrating Spoken word, poetry and literature. I painted a 35 foot Gil Scot Heron wall in my new Mural style of oversized cross-hatching!
In the works is a new short comic strip for a classic British comic story that's yet to be announced, more murals for Words Weekend, more Egostrip illustrations and Video game concept art.
My Egostrip illustration series has slowed down somewhat due to working on the creation of the Egostrip book, and the plans for a Kickstarter Crowd funder to help its release!
I'll chat about that in more detail in the next coming weeks.
